Toorak Residence
Irving Road, Toorak, was a tired 1990s solid brick two-level home in need of an update.
iSolar builders worked with architect Rosanna Ceravolo to modernise the interior. Renovation works included a new kitchen, butler’s pantry, study, lounge, and sitting room.
The considered use of Tundra stone in the butler’s pantry and kitchen is complimented by the stained American Oak solid cabinetry.
One of the highlights of the renovation was in the lounge and sitting room with the installation of a spectacular brass chandelier and contemporary lighting by Oliver Wilcox of Lost Profile Studio.
The fireplace mantels in the lounge and sitting room once again feature Tundra stone. The study is an exercise in restraint and sophistication, featuring dark stained veneer and brass inlay trim.
When taken as a whole, this is a truly spectacular and sophisticated renovation.
