This home was purchased by a regular client of iSolar Builders with the intent to renovate a dated interior and bring a more contemporary edge to the internal spaces.

Frank Fattor of F2 Design Interior Architecture was once again responsible for the interiors, specifying all finishes and fittings with iSolar Builders – translating the owner’s and interior designer’s visions into reality.

Existing spaces were essentially retained and refined with the magic shining through the finishes, fittings and overall attention to detail.

This client has developed a signature use of Italian marble throughout his interiors with this renovation being no exception. New York marble was used on the home office benches and fireplace surrounds, with Arabascato natural stone and Carrara marble used extensively on kitchen and bathroom surfaces. iSolar Builders has developed a unique understanding of the use of natural stone in domestic applications and has very good relationships with some of the best stonemasons in the country.

Engineered timber flooring has been used throughout the residence, replacing the dated brush box timber floor. The bathroom floors utilises large 1200 x 600mm Colombino lappato finish concrete look tiles.
